KNOCKDOWN Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#0111; 03:18AM; 1001 E 27th St; https://bit.ly/3yqbQNJ; #HistoricSouthCentral; Firefighters arrived to find a vacant church building (site of a previous burn) fully involved with fire. Crews developed hose lines from the exterior, in defensive mode, due to the uncertain structural stability of the dilapidated building, which sustained partial collapses at times during the fire fight. Ultimately, it took 66 firefighters 38 minutes to complete extinguishment of the intense flames. No reported injuries.
