KNOCKDOWN Greater Alarm Structure Fire; INC#1767; 11:03PM; 826 S Santa Fe Av; https://bit.ly/3Fcy4DB; #DowntownLA; Firefighters forced entry into the metalclad building. After withdrawing to defensive operations and knocking back the flames, firefighters re-entered the building to finish the job. Ultimately, it took 96 firefighters 46 minutes to extinguish the flames. Thankfully, this particular metal-working business did not contain some of the flammable metals (like magnesium) that can be a concern, but only aluminum was the main metal found inside. There were no reported injuries.
