Hiker Rescue; INC#0967; 01:39PM; Elsmere Motorway; https://bit.ly/3BFGMuU; County of #LosAngeles; PRELIM: LAFD ground and air response alongside the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Mountains Recreation & Conservation Authority to a 26-year-old male hiker suffering heat illness on a remote section of the Elsmere Motorway in the western San Gabriel Mountain foothills near the LAFD/LACoFD common border, just west of the Angeles National Forest. An LAFD Rescue Helicopter has lowered a Flight Paramedic to medically assess the hiker, who will soon be hoisted along with the Flight Paramedic into the hovering LAFD helicopter for direct air transport to an area hospital.
