Hiker Rescue; INC#0784; 12:36PM; Haines Canyon Ave; https://bit.ly/49gXCeK; #Tujunga; Firefighters located a 19-year-old male in a remote area, with an arm injury sustained during cycling. Ground crews were unable to bring apparatus to the patient's location, therefore LAFD Air Operations utilized a hoist operation. A rescuer was lowered down to the patient to assess, treat, and prepare the patient for a hoist. LAFD Air Operations hoisted and transported the patient by air to a local hospital.
