Hazardous Materials Investigation; INC#0458; 08:58AM; 5400 W Century Bl; https://bit.ly/3X3KG8e; #Westchester; PRELIM: LAFD was requested by hotel staff to a fifth floor guest room at the 12 story Westin Los Angeles Airport hotel, where a worker (undetermined age / gender / craft) entering the unoccupied room felt suddenly ill and exited the room, noting a 16oz water bottle as well as the room's bathtub containing a yet to be identified or described liquid. The presence of an odor, vapor or any worker contact with said liquid has yet to be determined. The worker has been medically evaluated by LAFD Paramedics and remains on scene. No other ill or injured persons have been identified. There is no escalating or off-site hazard, and any impact on hotel operations has yet to be determined.
