Complete - Rescue; INC#1085; 03:58PM; 8367 W Beverly Bl; https://bit.ly/3ov1jsE; #BeverlyGrove; LAFD Firefighters, including an LAFD Urban Search and Rescue team specially trained, equipped and certified to manage confined space rescues, have utilized a high-point rope system with wrist straps to quickly and safely rescue the conscious and alert adult male, who was trapped feet-first, eleven feet from the rooftop, in an approximately 18" metal ventilation shaft at a vacant two story restaurant. He claimed he had been there for as much as 24 hours. The man, who has no visible injuries, was medically evaluated by LAFD Paramedic.
