Complete - Hiker Rescue; INC#1219; 05:21PM; West Of Bird Sanctuary Loop Trail; https://bit.ly/3PXa0sT; #GriffithPark; LAFD ground crews have successfully used a rope and harness system to safely rescue a 72 year-old female hiker, who was stranded in steep and unstable terrain, after she slid approximately fifty (50) feet from a trail west of the Bird Sanctuary Loop Trail. She sustained only a minor abrasion to one leg, and has declined LAFD offered treatment or ambulance transportation.
