KNOCKDOWN Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#1523; 07:39PM; 15226 W Parthenia St; https://bit.ly/49FtvA1; North Hills; Over 100 firefighters extinguished the fire in just under two hours. Crews will remain on scene throughout the night, chasing hot spots and conducting fire watch. If LA Building and Safety 'red tag' the building (deem it unsafe to occupy), LAFD Heavy Equipment operators will evaluate the building tomorrow for possible demolition. Update Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#1523; 07:19PM; 15226 W Parthenia St; https://bit.ly/49FtvA1; North Hills; After the roof collapsed, firefighters were more effectively able to reach the deep seated fire and are making good progress. Firefighters are evaluating the exposed apartment building for any damage as there are some broken windows. One 42 year-old female patient was transported in fair condition for possible smoke inhalation. There are no other reported injuries. This will be an extended duration operation (included overhaul) and drivers are advised to avoid the area. It is recommended that residents who are close enough to smell the smoke keep their windows closed and stay indoors until the fire is fully extinguished. Update Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#1523; 06:06PM; 15236 W Parthenia St; https://bit.ly/4jCwfCZ; North Hills; With 17 fire companies assigned, this is now a Major Emergency incident. Firefighters are in the defensive mode on the commercial (boarded up) building and are offensive on the exposed apartment building. Crews are working their way through each floor of the apartment complex for evacuation and location of any fire. There are no injuries reported at this time. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0230; 07:07AM; 20211 W Sherman Wy; https://bit.ly/4qd74cu; Winnetka; Over 120 firefighters extinguished heavy fire in a large, two-story commercial building in just under 2 hours. One adult female patient was transported in fair condition and no other injuries were reported. This will be an extended duration overhaul operation and drivers are advised to continue avoiding the area of Sherway Way from Oso to Winnetka. Update Structure Fire; INC#0230; 06:30AM; 20211 W Sherman Wy; https://bit.ly/4qd74cu; Winnetka; With over 120 firefighters on scene, the bulk of the fire has been extinguished at the back of the building. The front of the building sustained a partial collapse and pockets of active fire remain. Crews are working to safely access and extinguish that area. The large apartment building was defended from any damage and did not require evacuation, residents sheltered-in-place. A 36yo female patient was transported early in the incident in fair condition. There are no other reported injuries. The incident is split into defensive in one portion of the building due to a partial collapse and fire on both floors. It is an offensive operation towards the rear where crews are also working to prevent any further extension through the office building. The large, two-story apartment building is not currently being threatened and firefighters are apply water to the exterior for additional protection. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire 01/12/2026 INC#1994

Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1994; 10:18PM; 1561 S Reeves St; https://bit.ly/4qhT7Ke; Beverlywood; A 2 story split level home caught fire on the second floor, which extended into the attic. Units engaged in extensive salvage operations in order to protect the occupants belongings, while actively working in a coordinated effort to extinguish the fire. It took 54 firefighters 34 minutes to achieve a knockdown. All occupants are reported to be out of the home. No injuries to firefighters or civilians reported.
