Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1395; 06:10PM; 1258 N Hilldale Av; https://bit.ly/4ssrUoQ; Hollywood Hills West; Over 100 firefighters from LAFD, with mutual aid assistance from LACoFD and Beverly Hills Fire Department, achieved a knock down in 42 minutes. Fire was confined to the roof of the home, with no surrounding brush or structure involvement. LAFD air units were requested and remained overhead to monitor any ember casts as well as the option for a water drop if called for by the IC. Arson is responding to further investigate this incident. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1082; 02:20PM; 506 N St Andrews Pl; https://bit.ly/4d5dBSQ; Larchmont; First arriving units reported a vacant one story single family dwelling with heavy fire and smoke showing. Over 100 firefighters operated in the offensive mode for one hour and 1 minute to achieve a full knockdown on the blaze. Primary and secondary searches were completed with no victims found inside the structure. Out of caution, the Incident Commander is requesting search dogs for a more thorough search of the heavily damaged occupancy. Arson units are responding to the scene for further investigation. No injuries reported.
