Update - Street Closure Advisory; 10:00PM; La Tuna Canyon Rd; http://bit.ly/9JanuaryLaTunaCanyon; #LaTunaCanyon; The Los Angeles Police Department has temporarily reopened one lane in both directions of La Tuna Canyon Road from the 10500 block to the 9100 block as of 10 PM tonight until 6 AM Wednesday morning, in order for residents to access their homes. A hard closure will resume at 6:00 AM Wednesday (January 10th) in order to allow the Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services to safely continue with the removal of mud and debris caused by today’s debris flow. The duration of the hard closure taking place on Wednesday, January 10th is unknown due to the amount of debris that has affected La Tuna Canyon Road. Advisory; 5:00PM; 8300 - 8800 La Tuna Canyon Rd; http://bit.ly/9JanuaryLaTunaCanyon; #LaTunaCanyon; The Los Angeles Police Department has issued a MANDATORY Evacuation Order for the La Tuna Canyon burn area due to the recent storm activity and debris flow. Individuals who reside in 23 homes between 8300 La Tuna Canyon Road and 8800 La Tuna Canyon Road are being evacuated by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department. Residents on La Tuna Canyon south of these addresses are encouraged to voluntarily evacuate. A hard road closure continues to be in effect for La Tuna Canyon Road from Sunland Boulevard to the 210 Freeway due to the amount of debris affecting the area. The evacuation order and the hard road closure are anticipated to remain in effect until the roads can be cleared and the threat to these residences reassessed. Update Structure Fire; 8:55PM; 1519 E Pleasant Av; Boyle Heights; KNOCKDOWN: 101 FF in 58 mins. Address updated to 1519 E Pleasant Av. Building will continue to collapse as it smolders and water is applied. Red Cross notified to assist with housing needs for those evacuated (number unk) of adjacent 2 story apartment building (fire extended to the attic when fire building collapsed against it). Update Structure Fire 01/07/2018

Update Structure Fire; 8:34PM; 1516 E Pleasant Av; Boyle Heights; The fire building has partial collapse towards the exposed building (two story, center hall apartments) on the bravo side (south/west) side of the structure. Fire extended into the attic of the apartment building and firefighters quickly pulled ceiling and gained a knockdown. Firefighters continue to defend the exposure on the delta (north/east) side of the fire building from any damage. Crews continue to battle the flames on the fire building.
