LAFD ground crews in coordination with LAFD Air Ships have stopped the forward progress of the fire. LA County Fire Hand Crew personnel are enroute for the mop-up stage. One of the vehicles overturned was a tanker truck spilling bleach. Both sides of the 105 freeway shut down at this time. LAFD hazmat crews are on scene assisting with clean up and safety. 1 patient was located, evaluated and released without transport. BLEDSOE IC The forward progress of an approximately 1 1/2 acre grass fire has been stopped. LAFD crews have an estimated 2 hour mop-up of the fire. Reporting the grass fire is now 1/2 acre burning into the wind. Still now structures or exposures threatened. Fire is a grass fire burning in light fuels with a slow rate of spread. BC12 upgraded the LAFD response to a BRUSH Fire response. LAFD Air Operations have been attached, Water Tender 77 and 1 additional helicopter from LA County Fire Department also requested. LAFD personnel performed a primary and secondary search of the involved fire unit and adjacent exposures for residents or victims in need. Both primary and secondary searches were clear with no rescue issues. No reported injuries.
