Structure Fire; INC#0241; 06:40AM; 14015 W Van Nuys Bl; https://bit.ly/2A6lgQE; Arleta; The first 26 LAFD personnel extinguished a fire contained mostly in the walls and attic of one unit (party supply store) of a strip mall in 23 minutes (at 7:03AM). Firefighters were initially challenged in locating all hidden areas of fire extension. Rooftop ventilation aided in clearing smoke inside, allowing fire attack crews to work more quickly in achieving a knockdown. No reported injuries.
