Can I arrange for a presentation at my school?

Yes, you can! The Los Angeles Fire Department is partnered with a non-profit organization called MySafe:LA. The MySafe:LA team works in collaboration with the Los Angeles Fire Department to provide professional presenters and firefighters who can help your classroom get the very latest information on fire and life safety. If you'd like to arrange for a presentation at your school, you have several options available to you:

  • Speak with your principal and arrange to make a request through your local council office. Some council districts, such as Council District 4 (Tom LaBonge), have education deputies ready to assist you.
  • Write an email to one of our team.  We will respond within two business days to every request. The email to use is: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
  • Call us at (213) 485-8040. One of our team will respond promptly.
  • Make a request through your local LAUSD district. The district will in turn contact MySafe:LA.
  • Make a written request through your local fire station. All requests will be forwarded to the appropriate scheduling officer at MySafe:LA.
