Update Brush Fire #SepulvedaFire 06/10/2020 INC#0013

Update #SepulvedaFire Brush Fire; INC#0013; 02:45AM; 1300 N Sepulveda Bl; https://bit.ly/2Zr6a0b; BelAir / #SepulvedaPass; Forward progress of the fire has been stopped by the now 199 LAFD personnel assigned to the #SepulvedaFire, who have tirelessly battled flames by ground and air (4 LAFD helicopters), to hold the fire to a now estimated 35 acres of grass and brush in an old burn scar upon a west facing slope of the Sepulveda Pass, entirely on the east side of the San Diego (I-405) Freeway. The heel of the fire remains on Sepulveda Boulevard at Getty Center Drive, with the fire having moved slowly eastward, the blaze's flanks stretching north and south from there. Weather conditions remain hot and dry with minimal wind. There have been no injuries. No structures are imminently threatened and there are presently no evacuation orders. Though progress is being made, the fire has yet to be fully controlled and no containment factor has been estimated. The L.A. County Fire Dept helicopters that earlier joined the peak of battle have been released, but LACoFD hand crews and Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) as well as LAPD and CHP resources remain assigned. For the morning commute, CHP tells us that the San Diego (I-405) Freeway will remain open in both directions, but the northbound freeway off ramp at Getty Center Drive will remain closed until LAFD operations are complete. Sepulveda Boulevard is expected to be closed in both directions in the area of the fire, and motorists are encouraged to allow extra time in the travel and monitor traffic reports on news radio. LAFD Public Information Officers have established Media Staging on Sepulveda Boulevard south of Getty Center Drive, and are standing by to assist and guide journalists at that location.; FS 19; Batt 9; West Bureau; Council District 5; Dispatched LAFD Units: AR2 BC10 BC12 BC14 BC4 BC706 BC9 CL1 CM42 CM51 E102 E105 E108 E109 E19 E237 E27 E29 E290 E293 E36 E37 E38 E39 E44 E46 E48 E5 E59 E60 E63 E64 E69 E71 E72 E73 E75 E8 E8136 E8137 E8138 E8139 E8140 E88 E90 E93 E98 E99 EM11 EM17 EM9 H1 H3 H4 H6 HA1 HA3 HA4 HA6 HE1 PI1 PI2 PI3 RA19 RA90 RT40 T37 T90 T93 WT77 WT88 & LACoFD and MRCA.; Radio Channels: 5; 14, 16; - Brian Humphrey
